Hard water contains dissolved minerals in the form of Ca2+ and Mg2+. Removal of these minerals is accomplished by softening the water through ion-exchanger process. Ion-exchange water softeners are popularly used for removal of minerals such as Ca 2+ and Mg2+. Softeners are conventionally designed downstream of the ACF filters. Proper sizing of the water softeners shall be calculated per raw water parameters and product water demands. JUNYUE’s standardized softeners enable the engineers to select the proper ones to suit the process demand.
